Google Review Link & QR Kit

Get a link that opens your Google review box directly, a QR code and printable card for your office, and request scripts that follow Google’s review policy and lawyer ethics rules.

1. Find your firm on Google

Or paste your Place ID or review link

In your Google Business Profile, choose Ask for reviews and copy the link, or look up your Place ID with Google’s Place ID Finder.

    How it works

The method, and the sources behind it

    1. Find your Google listing

Search for your firm, or paste the link from “Ask for reviews” in your Business Profile, or your Place ID.

    2. Get a link that skips the steps

The link opens your review box directly, so clients don’t have to find your listing, scroll and tap “Write a review”.

    3. Print a QR card

Download the QR code or a ready-to-print card with your firm name for your reception desk or closing folder.

    4. Ask the right way

Email, text and in-person scripts that follow Google’s review policy: no incentives, no gating, no pressure.

    Disclosures

    • About this tool. Asking for reviews must follow Google’s policies and your state’s ethics rules. The scripts are examples: adapt them to your state, and only text clients who agreed to receive texts. Google decides which reviews it publishes.
    • Your data. If you search for your firm, the name and city you type are sent to the Google Places API to find your listing. The link, QR code and scripts are made in your browser. See our privacy policy.
    • Not legal advice. Lawzen is a marketing agency, not a law firm. Nothing on this page is legal, ethics, tax or financial advice, and using this tool doesn’t create an attorney-client relationship.
    • Who made it. This free tool is made by Lawzen, which sells marketing services to law firms. Where it mentions our services or prices, it’s describing what we sell. Results are provided as-is, without warranty; see our terms.
    • Trademarks. Google, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Avvo, Justia and other names mentioned belong to their owners. Lawzen isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them.

    Questions, answered

About the Google Review Link & QR Kit.

How do I get a direct link to my Google reviews?

In your Google Business Profile, choose “Ask for reviews” to copy your link. Or use the link format search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid= followed by your Place ID. This tool builds it for you and turns it into a QR code.

Can a law firm offer something in exchange for a review?

No. Google’s policy forbids offering incentives such as payment, discounts or free services for reviews, and ABA Model Rule 7.2(b) bars lawyers from giving anything of value for recommending their services. Ask every client the same way, with nothing attached.

Can I ask only my happiest clients?

Google’s policy forbids selectively soliciting positive reviews (“review gating”) and discouraging negative ones. Ask everyone the same way.

How should I reply to the reviews I get?

Carefully: even a thank-you can reveal that someone was your client. Our review response generator gives safe replies based on ABA Formal Opinion 496.
