See where your firm shows up on Google Maps when clients search from around your office: a pin for each spot on a real map, who beats you there, and what to fix.
This takes 10 to 30 seconds. Each spot is a real Google Maps search, as if a client were standing there.
We searched Google Maps from your office and from 8 spots around it, the way a potential client nearby would. Each pin shows where your firm came up from that spot. The top 3 matter most: a normal Google search shows only three firms in its map box before anyone taps “More places”.

How it works
Search your firm by name and city, and pick the right listing. We use its exact Google ID, so a rival with a similar name can’t be confused with you.
Your office and 8 spots around it (north, south, east, west and the corners), half a mile to two miles away. Most map searches are “near me”, so where the searcher stands changes who they see.
Each spot is a live Google Maps search for your search words, run from that place. We record where you came up (1 to 20) and the top three firms there.
A pin on a real street map for each spot, a spot-by-spot list, the firms that beat you most often and what to do next, plus a link to check any spot on Google Maps yourself.
About the Google Maps Rank Checker for Law Firms.
Google says local results are mainly based on relevance, distance and prominence (how well known a business is). Distance is about the searcher, not you, so the same search returns different firms a mile apart. Checking from several spots shows how far your visibility actually reaches.
Usually it’s relevance or prominence: a generic primary category, missing services, few or old reviews, or a website that doesn’t back up the profile. Our Google Business Profile category finder and website grader help with both.
What a client would type: “car accident lawyer”, “divorce attorney”, “DUI lawyer”. Avoid your firm name; you’ll rank for that almost everywhere. Check one per main practice area.
It’s very close to a real search from that spot at that moment, but rankings move by the hour and vary by device and search history. Use it to spot patterns, and re-check the same keyword monthly.
Each point uses one search from a fixed monthly allowance that every visitor shares, and each check uses 9 of them. To keep it fair, each visitor gets 3 scans a day, and the same scan is reused for 7 days. If the month’s scans run out, book a call and we’ll run a full scan for you.
